CoverGirl Rocks!

Okay, so for the most part, this blog has been dedicated to the products I have been asked to try as a BzzAgent. I really should change the name, I mean, this stuff is not "Useless Knowledge". Oh No! It's actually quite "Usefull" knowledge! I'm going to look into that, and beings as I have exactly...0 followers, it shouldn't be too hard to notify everyone!

Well today is no different! I was asked to try CoverGirl and Olay Tone Rehab 2 in 1 Foundation/Base in buff beige #125, and the Tone Rehab Pressed Powder. First of all, let me say, I love CoverGirl!!! I have fond memories of using CoverGirl Clean Makeup and Pressed Powder as a young girl, and I have used CoverGirl since. I recently switched to a mineral make-up (by CoverGirl) because I wanted something not so "heavy" feeling, and while I liked the mineral type of make-up, I found it lacking in the coverage dept., especially when I needed a little extra help covering up signs of a breakout.
First thoughts upon opening the bottle and compact, Mmmm, they smell fantastic! If you've used CoverGirl, ever, you know what I'm talking about! It smells clean, fresh, even a little invigorating. I applied the foundation first, of course, and I immediately noticed how lightweight is was, silky even, it was lovely. After I applied the foundation to my entire face and a little down the neck, I took a good look at myself. Let me just say, I could've thrown on some mascara and lip gloss, and stopped there. My face looked youthful, clear and I know this will sound cheesy, but it looked dewy. Yes, dewy! I was in love again with a liquid foundation! The best part was that I could have the lightweight feel on my skin and the coverage I also need. The CoverGirl and Olay pressed Powder just brought it all home and finished me up. It gave my face a nice matte look, not all shiny, and kept the shine down throughout the rest of the day. I wear make-up maybe 2-3 times a week so I can't really attest to it actually improving my skin, but to be fair, if CoverGirl and Olay say it will, I gotta believe it will! To sum it all up, I give this product an A+, and will continue to use, which is huge for me, I mean, that's quite an accomplishment CoverGirl!!!!

Tried 5 Hr Energy through Smiley 360...http://smiley360.com/720528.cfm... it wasn't bad, actually, it was great! I tried 5 hr Energy the first time one night after work, I was super tired, but I had promised my daughter I would take her and some friends skating. I had the Pomegranate flavor, it was tasty, not the yucky cough-syrup taste in other energy drinks. I was skeptical, I have to say, but it gave me loads of energy and really no crash afterwards!!! I didn't feel like I had taken anything...I just felt revived and energized! I definitely reccomend this to anyone who wants/needs a little boost!

I started reading The Dark Monk, the follow up novel to The Hangman's Daughter by Oliver Potzsch. The Hangman of a sleepy village in the Bavarian Alps, is set upon yet another mysterious death. Not unlike the first in The Hangman's Daughter, but this time he has a little more help. When the parish priest finds that he has been poisoned, he scratches out a clue in the snow. A clue that will lead whoever finds it to the treasure of The Knights Templar. And so, sets in motion, Jakob (The Hangman) and his daughter, Magdalena, along with the physician's son on a quest to find the treasure before a band of mysterious bandits gets to it. The novel is set in 17th century Bavaria, and makes it very easy to believe you have been swept back in time. I have only just started reading this new novel, I recieved it as part of a Bzz Campaign. So, stay tuned, for more of the Bzzz on this promising, wild ride of an adventure called: The Dark Monk
